Getting Started -Setup & Usage

Charging the Smartwatch

1. Connect the magnetic charging points of the supplied USB cable to the pogo pins on the back of the watch.
2. Plug the USB into a standard 5V wall adapter or a powered USB port. (Avoid fast chargers above 5V/2A as they may damage the battery.)
3. The charging icon will appear on-screen when charging successfully.
4. If the watch battery is fully drained, leave it charging for at least 30 minutes before switching on.
5. Do not charge overnight or for more than 4 hours at a time, as this may shorten battery lifespan.

Tip: If charging stops after a few seconds, gently clean the charging pins with a soft cloth and reconnect.

Pairing with the Volkano Fit App

• Download the Volkano Fit app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Open the app select Add Device choose your smartwatch.
• Accept Bluetooth pairing requests when prompted.
• Ensure all permissions are enabled for notifications, calls, and health tracking.

iOS Users: Go to Settings Privacy Health and enable access for Volkano Fit. Without this, workout and health data may not sync.

Troubleshooting Guide – Before You Contact Support

We’ve included common solutions to issues reported by customers:

• Watch not charging
  Use a wall adapter (not a laptop port).
  Ensure the charging cable is correctly aligned.
  Clean the charging contacts with a dry cloth.
  Leave charging for 30 minutes if the battery is completely drained.
• Battery drains quickly
  Heavy Bluetooth calling, high brightness, and continuous syncing reduce battery life to 6-12 hours.
  For longer use, lower screen brightness, disable Bluetooth calling when not in use, and switch to Low Power Mode.
• Watch keeps resetting
  Check for firmware updates in the Volkano Fit app.
  Restart both the watch and smartphone, then re-pair if issues persist.
• Caller ID or notifications not showing
  On your phone, ensure Volkano Fit has notification access.
  Caller ID works only if numbers are saved in your contacts.
  For Android: allow Volkano Fit to run in the background (disable battery optimization for the app).
• Bluetooth keeps disconnecting
  Keep your watch within 1 meter during initial pairing.
  On Android: set Volkano Fit to “unrestricted background activity.”
  If connection fails, unpair the watch from your phone’s Bluetooth menu and re-pair via the app.

Battery Performance & Expectations

• Up to 3 days with light-to-moderate use.
• Around 6-12 hours with heavy Bluetooth calling and notifications.
• Up to 7 days standby when idle.
• Full charge time: ~1 hour.
